I don’t know about you, but my life, especially the emotional aspect, is more like roughing it in the wilderness (Lions and tigers and bears! Oh my!) than relaxing on the beach of a posh resort (Jeeves, would you be a good fellow and adjust my umbrella?). That doesn’t mean my life isn’t good; it just means that, for me, life is mostly messy, frequently frustrating, and often overwhelming, with just enough satisfaction thrown in to make it all worthwhile.
This blog is about the daily challenge of becoming a happy camper as we trek through this wilderness we call life, about finding hope and healing hidden in heartache, about discovering contentment and confidence in the midst of life’s clutter, about succeeding and thriving in spite of our struggles.
I welcome your comments. Engaging in conversation is so much more fun and interesting than talking to myself, answering my own questions, and laughing at my own jokes.
